A Bio, in Brief
Justin Krohn, A.C.E., is an Emmy-Nominated picture editor, currently based in Los Angeles, CA.
Born in Minneapolis, MN, Justin received his BFA in film editing & directing at Columbia College in Chicago, IL. Upon graduation, he moved to Los Angeles & began working as an assistant editor in independent films & TV, notably working on the pilot & first season of The Office (US) for NBC/Universal.
At the beginning of 2005 he moved to New York to work on Martin Scorsese’s Bob Dylan documentary, No Direction Home. While living in NYC, Justin continued to work on independent films & documentaries, notably: Michael Haneke’s US remake of Funny Games, Martin Scorsese’s George Harrison documentary Living in the Material World, & several Bruce Springsteen documentaries/concerts films for director Thom Zimny.
Returning to Los Angeles in late 2009, Justin has worked as an in-demand editor on several high-profile television shows & feature films: American Horror Story, Childrens Hospital, Bloodline, Twin Peaks: The Return, The Current War, Homecoming, Mr. Robot, & WeCrashed. In 2018 he was nominated for an Emmy for his work on Part 8 of Twin Peaks: The Return.
Justin recently finished editing the feature film, Snack Shack, for Rian Johnson’s production company, T-Street.
